Are you fluent in another language?
We have a need for Spanish, Burmese and Farsi translators and interpreters
Translators and interpreters play a critical role in helping to provide free and meaningful services to our residents. We have a need for translators in workshops as well as in one on one counseling/coaching sessions.
Are you passionate about our mission?
Want to assist in advancing our cause? Join our Advancement Committee. Work with other professionals and volunteers who are committed to sharing the mission and vision of H.O.M.E. throughout DuPage County. Community Engagement, Marketing and Fundraising are some of the areas that this committee is chartered with.
Like to plan awesome parties and raise money?
Join our Annual Celebration Committee. Our annual Celebrate H.O.M.E. event is a fun, engaging and interactive evening. Join this team of volunteers, board members and staff to assist with the planning and details of our annual fundraiser.
Would you like to be an Open Door Ambassador?
We are looking for individuals or groups who would like to host introductory events for H.O.M.E. This is a great way to assist in spreading the word of our services throughout the community. Invite a work group, book club, social organization or just a group of friends that you think would be interested in attending an one hour information event. You can host it at your home or ours!
Are you a Proficient Microsoft PowerPoint Person?
Assist our counselors in developing workshop presentations. Work with our staff to refresh and revise the presentations used for all the program workshops.
Are you interested in being a Presenter? – Workshops Home Buyer Education & Gateway to Homeownership Class Speakers
Lenders, Realtors, Attorneys, Home Inspectors and Insurance Agents can gain valuable business leads and help your community by volunteering as speakers at our Home Buyer Education Classes. Lenders are also encouraged to speak at our Gateway to Homeownership Orientations. Lenders – you must be a H.O.M.E. DuPage member to participate. Realtors – you must be a member of the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS to participate. Home Inspectors – must be a member of ASHI to participate. New presenters must attend an orientation. Community Organizers Wanted!
Help us reach more households at risk of foreclosure or those struggling to afford a home in Dupage County. Reach out to corporations, faith communities and local businesses to inquire about posting helpful H.O.M.E. DuPage program information. Do you love greeting people and making them feel at HOME?
