Are you ready for homeownership? Gateway Orientation is the first step for DuPage County residents ready to purchase a home.

Attention: Due to COVID-19, all Gateway to Homeownership classes are currently held online. After registration, you will receive an email with instructions.

Gateway to Homeownership is a 2-1/2 hour orientation class for anyone interested in learning more about homeownership, but are not quite ready to buy, or have issues to be resolved before they can qualify for a mortgage. Counselors go over down payment assistance programs and their eligibility requirements. A local lender answers your questions on types of mortgages and their requirements. This is your first step towards homeownership. Serving residents of DuPage County.

Select the orange "SELECT A DATE" button to register for class. The cost is $25.00 (non-refundable) per HOUSEHOLD. You must pay this fee before your registration is complete.

If you are unable to attend, please provide a 24-hour notice of cancellation.

For the optimum experience, please log on 10 to 15 minutes before class begins. Anyone logging in more than 15 minutes after class starts will need to reschedule. GATEWAY classes are typically held once per month.
